Project Overview
Iverson Design partnered with Tamarack Technologies to solve the challenge of photographing dark, highly reflective equipment, a subject notoriously difficult for standard studio setups. The objective was to design a custom studio lighting rig and testing protocol that would produce high-quality, detail-rich product images for marketing, documentation and product presentations.
Creative Approach
Custom Lighting Rig Development:
Engineered a specialized rig to control reflections, minimize glare and highlight critical details. Incorporated Edison bulbs strategically positioned to add unique highlights and enhance depth.
Virtual Studio Simulations:
Conducted digital pre-shoot simulations to optimize lighting angles, intensity and color temperature. This reduced trial-and-error on set, streamlining execution and ensuring consistent results.
Client Collaboration:
Delivered detailed specifications and provided hands-on guidance for the client’s product team to construct and mount the rig, ensuring the final installation met both visual and technical requirements.
