Apple Books — Taberna de Haro Interactive Tapas Cookbook
Project Overview
Iverson Design collaborated with Taberna de Haro in Brookline, MA to produce the first Spanish Tapas interactive cookbook available on Apple Books. Titled “A White, A Red and a Spanish Spread”, the first in the Much Más! series by Chef and Author Deborah Hansen. The project combined high-quality video cooking tutorials, engaging design and interactive publishing to bring authentic Spanish cuisine into a digital format.
Creative Approach
Video Production:
Conducted multi-camera video shoots in the restaurant’s colorful kitchen and bar.
Captured Chef Deborah Hansen preparing four signature tapas dishes with step-by-step clarity.
Enhanced visuals through professional sound editing, color grading and scripting.
Design & Publishing:
Created storyboards to align production with the cookbook’s interactive flow.
Designed and formatted layouts, blending video, text and imagery.
Published the interactive book on Apple Books/iTunes, ensuring a seamless, user-friendly experience.
